City Railway Station - Terminal 2

Designed to be the second entry and terminal building to serve platform numbers five to ten in the Bangalore City Railway station, the building has three floors. The basement floor is meant for car parking, ground floor for passenger waiting area, reservations and ticketing. The first floor would eventually house a cafeteria.

The building with a built up area of approximately thirty thousand square feet is balloon shaped in plan. There are circular windows all around the ground floor. The first floor is an arched structure.

The building sits on a plot of approximately six acres. The master plan consists of the driveways, the parking areas for various types of vehicles, landscape in front of the building etc.
